🚀 Ecoat presents its innovation at Expo InnovClimat thanks to support from the France 2030 program 🌱
We were honored to take part in Expo InnovClimat, an event organized by ADEME (the French National Environmental agency), to present a key innovation we developed thanks to funding from the France 2030 program: Secoia® 1501
💡 Our project? A low-carbon footprint bio-based binder for architectural paints, offering performance equivalent to petro-based binders while reducing the paint industry’s carbon footprint. A major breakthrough for a more sustainable chemistry!
During the event, 12 prizewinners, including Ecoat, unveiled their innovations. The companies were grouped around four main themes: circular economy (where Ecoat stood out), decarbonizing industry, mobility & building, and renewable energies.
✨ Clémence Démariaux, representing Ecoat, presented our Secoia® 1501 resin from the Newcoat project to visitors. She also had the opportunity to meet many players from different sectors. The exchanges were rich and inspiring, as were the innovations presented by the other prizewinners. The event highlighted a promising future, where French companies are actively engaged in proposing innovative solutions aimed at significantly reducing the carbon footprint of their activities.
A big well done to the ADEME team for their exemplary organization of this zero-waste event. Everything was thought out to minimize environmental impact: sorting garbage cans accessible everywhere, vegetarian meals prepared using fresh, local produce, and even a responsible food truck to treat visitors.
👏 Thank you to all the participants and organizers for their commitment to a more sustainable future!
